Artisan Gardening came from necessity years ago after our five year old daughter was diagnosed with severe food allergies. When all results pointed to her intake of food chemicals, we started to look at the role her environment played.
We learned how to identify chemicals in food, body products, household cleaners and beyond. We now looked at our food and surroundings through a new lense, realizing there were a lot of unseen causes that many didn't know about. Cleaning up our food source created better health & happiness for the whole family. Along the way I was introduced to Aromatherapy, Herbology and Natural Medicine. When she was six, we moved to the family farm.
We had nine acres certified organic so we could grow medicinal herb crops. We had a contract with a health company that produced high quality tinctures.
We found it easy to go without traditional weed killers and other chemicals after realizing the effect it was having on our health. It's easy although it's more work in the beginning.
We're passionate about living in a clean and safe environment and conscious of what we're leaving for future generations.

We learned companion planting methods and many other natural ways to create a healthy environment and grow delicious chemical free food. Mixing flowers with vegetables has been our landscaping practice for years now.
Larry's a talented carpenter and grew up on the family farm. He's an insightful man of the land and understands the cycles in nature. He grew up raising animals and is super knowledgeable about them and the environment. This has been invaluable to me. I'm a city girl and grew up visiting my country cousins in the summer. I also come from a long line of artists and spent a lot of time drawing in nature. Art taught me that there is more beneath the surface than what we see, the ground isn't just flat, and it's composed of many elements just like human beings. Meeting Larry was like finding my soul mate. What I could see through my artist eyes, he could explain through his cowboy heart and experience.
We have a wonderful relationship of blending our interests and vision. We have studied and grown over 30 years. Together we have built houses, planted many gardens, and the special project we are working on right now.
A piece of organic land we invested in years back where we are creating a legacy project yet to be revealed. Over the years I've studied classical environmental Feng Shui and have incorporated the principles into my garden and our house designs.
Understanding how you, the individual and your family responds to your environment is a complete game changer. You have a greater say in how you thrive in it than you may realize.
Because of our experience, I have been researching and studying different ways that you can change the way you experience your life through understanding your environment. Learning how to shift how your environment for health and harmony has been practised by many cultures. I have been fortunate to study with teachers of various methods from around the world.
I've worked with earth elements on many projects. It's how I design the homes we've lived in and determine the inside layout.
Applying it to gardens landscapes has been one of my personal favorites.
This is a key element to understanding and designing any space you occupy.
I've traveled extensively to work with people wanting to create a healthy home or special space in their business locations.
It is only recently that I recognized that I should be sharing more for the exterior spaces of peoples homes.
Please reach out at any time and I will continue to create offerings so that you too can create an artisan garden in your space.
Artisan Garden Design
I'm passionate about creating beautiful and sustainable garden spaces that healthy chemical free environments to attract pollinators that while creating a beautiful space it's also a functional space of beauty that nourishes the body and soul.
Over the years of studying environmental relationships, I have created methods for people to experience their living spaces. I use optimum compatibility tools like Color and Sound therapy, numerology, sacred geometry, psychosomatic therapy and LifeLine Graphs* that add a whole new dimension to experiencing and understanding who you are and what you're here to do.
Author, mentor, mother, Hatha Yoga teacher, I've been taught by master teachers in Yoga, Psychosomatic Therapy, Feng Shui, Human Design and the Gene Keys.
I'm a life long student living in the heart of Canadian prairie.
People come into my space and even though they can't see the particular 'thing' that is making them feel:
peaceful comfortable inspired
Their responses confirm the methods work and I especially love applying it to garden spaces.
I've spent years learning to simplify the methods for you to easily apply to your space and your life.
The garden really is a metaphor for your life
It can feel overwhelming at any stage. We all require tools. Finding the correct tools is an essential part of your journey. Patiences, perseverance and compassion are often tools we learn along the way.
One thing is certain, your garden will continue to teach you til you can no longer hold a shovel or pick a weed.
Your garden is a journey of the Soul
